Deposits & No-Show Fees
Protect your time — without the awkward conversation.
An empty slot is the most expensive thing in your week. Synarii gives you two protections: a deposit taken up front by Mia, and fees for late cancellations and no-shows that follow the customer to their next visit.
How it works
- Choose your rules onceA deposit as a percentage or a flat amount, for new customers only or for everyone. Your late-cancellation window and fee. Your no-show fee.
- Mia takes the depositWhen she books, Mia texts a secure payment link and holds the slot for three hours. Paid — the booking confirms itself. Not paid — the slot is released for someone else. The deposit comes off the bill on the day, automatically.
- Fees don't get forgottenIf a customer cancels late through Mia, she lets them know a fee may apply and asks you to decide — apply it or waive it, with their reason in front of you. An unpaid fee shows on their next appointment and is added to that day's total. No-shows you mark on the calendar are recorded the same way.
What it means for your day
- New customers who book, turn up. A deposit filters out the ones who were never coming.
- You stay the good guy. Mia explains the policy kindly. With “Ask me” switched on, you choose whether each fee is applied or waived — so a genuine emergency never gets a bill.
- Nothing slips through. The fee is waiting on the customer's next visit; you don't have to remember it.
- Straight to your account. Deposits are paid into your own Stripe account. Synarii takes no cut.
Plain English on what this is: deposits are paid up front by link, and fees are collected at the customer's next visit or by a payment link. Synarii does not store customer cards or charge them without their action.
