How your information is handled when your AI books a salon for you
Synarii connects you with local salons that have chosen to accept bookings made through an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini). This notice explains what information we receive when you book this way, and how it's used. It covers the AI booking experience; salons also operate under their own privacy practices.
Only what's needed to make your booking, which you provide through your own AI assistant:
An AI assistant using Synarii cannot look up, list, or browse any other customer's details — names, phone numbers, pets, or bookings. Every request is limited to the single salon you chose. There is no way to enumerate or harvest customer data.
About the text messages. Messages are sent by the salon you chose, through Synarii. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that salon, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.
Your booking is stored in your chosen salon's customer system so they can prepare for and fulfil your appointment, under that salon's data terms. We keep minimal confirmation records (a booking reference, your number, and the booking status) to manage the booking and its confirmation.
We use trusted providers to operate the service: Supabase (secure database), Twilio (text messaging) and Railway (hosting). They process data only to provide these functions. The full list is kept at synarii.com/subprocessors.html.
You can cancel or change a booking at any time — through your AI assistant (using the booking reference it received) or simply by replying to the confirmation text. To request deletion of your information, contact us below.
Information is encrypted in transit. Access is strictly scoped per salon, credentials are kept server-side, and the service is rate-limited to prevent abuse.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you by contacting the salon you booked with, or us at the address below; we will pass your request to the salon, which controls your customer record. Depending on where you live (for example California, or under Canada's PIPEDA) you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your privacy regulator. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
